A: We can set up on cement, grass, dirt and indoors. Please keep in mind that if we are setting up on concrete, pavement, pavers, or any sort of surface that we cannot stake into the ground, we must add sandbags or water barrels to your order for an additional cost. For set up on grass, we do use stakes that are 18-48" deep, so be aware of your underground sprinkler lines! We ask that you map or flag where these lines run underground before delivery so we can try to avoid them for you. WE CANNOT SET UP OR WALK ACROSS SAND!
A: Yes we are fully insured and we can provide proof of insurance along with workers compensation! Please let us know in advance if you need this proof, as this may require us to staff the event.
A: Jump and Slide Entertainment does not cut any corners when it come to safety. We provide a complete training course for all employees along with acquiring advanced safety certifications. We have been servicing Long Island for over 17 years, and have always made safety our top priority. We always want to make sure our customer's are at ease and know that their guests will have a fun and safe time with the rentals!
A: Jump and Slide Entertainment has been in business since 2005. We have witnessed a lot of other companies change their name from year to year when they acquired a multitude of bad reviews. Here at Jump and Slide, we have the same company name since 2005 . We have the largest selection of clean bounce house rentals Long Island and the best party rentals around Long Island!
A: Yes you will have to provide your own water source from a water hose that will reach the unit. It is used to fill the pool(s) and add a mist over the slide to keep it constantly wet for optimal fun. Once the pool is filled up for the first time it requires very little water to stay operating. We do not have any hoses to rent, but we do not recommend pocket hoses. Using a pocket hose will take much longer for the pool(s) to fill up, and please understand that we are also not responsible for any water pressure issues.
A: Yes you will have to use your own source of electricity. The party rentals must be within 100 feet of an electrical outlet. We supply extension cords that are up to 100 ft. in length, but if using multiple outlets they must be on separate circuits. If plugging into the same circuit, this may trip the circuit breaker continuosly. Please understand that we are not responsible for electrical issues. If renting a generator from us and there is an issue with the generator, please have a backup source of power, as a refund will be issued for the generator ONLY.
A: Yes we can supply you with a generator for an additional cost! We use surge protected generators that are meant to withstand the high electrical capacity of these rentals. When renting a generator, we recommend having an alternate backup plan for electric as if there is a problem with the generator, we will be issuing a refund for the generator ONLY, not the rentals. We do test every rental before sending them out to delivery.
A: Yes we offer discounts to Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Military Service Members. Please talk with a representative when booking so we can honor the discount for you!
A: Yes we clean our units after every rental. Feel free to visit our warehouse Monday or Tuesday to see our team sanitizing in action.
After every rental the unit comes back to the warehouse to get disinfected and sanitized before next rental. That unit is logged in a book of who cleaned it and signed off by a supervisor
One thing we do is that each item goes to one family per day, this way you know for sure it is properly disinfected and sanitized.
We have a huge selection of equipment, so there is no cutting corners here! Most other companies do this part time as they have another full time job, and will try to get the most money on rentals by delivering the same unit 2 times a day to different families.
Or think about this. If they have another full time job and do this only on the weekends, when do they have time to clean the units?
We have a full staff year round and this is all we do!

A: If it is a private backyard party the customer has the option to hire our staff to help out with the units, providing they are available.
If its a corporate party, block party or in a park we will provide attendants for all bouncers, obstacle courses and slides. Please confirm the event location when booking.

A: First, please make sure extension cord hasn't come unplugged.
Next thing to check would be the circuit breaker inside, as it may have tripped. If you are having any issues, PLEASE CALL US IMMEDIATELY! We have a road maintenance crew that is ready at all times to come and assist you if we are not able to troubleshoot and fix the problem over the phone. The sooner we know about the issue, the sooner we can get this resolved!
Next thing to check would be the circuit breaker inside, as it may have tripped. If you are having any issues, PLEASE CALL US IMMEDIATELY! We have a road maintenance crew that is ready at all times to come and assist you if we are not able to troubleshoot and fix the problem over the phone. A: You may cancel inflatables only up to the day before due to bad weather only and will receive a credit on your deposit for future use.
Once we confirm with you and have delivered/set up, we do not offer any refunds or credits. When you decide to go with it, that's it!
All tent rentals require a 50% non refundable deposit.
If you reserve items and decide to take any item(s) off we have to charge a 20% loss fee if the event is within 60 days.
If cancelling item(s) within 14 days of event you will be responsible for 50% of rental item(s)
Keep in mind we reserved these items for you and may have turned away clients from potentially renting these items.

A: It all depends on the size of inflatable and age of kids attending. The industry standard is between 6-8 kids at a time. Supervision is required at all times for inflatables, whether we provide the staff or not. Often times you can trust a babysitter, parent, or family friend to supervise the unit when in use as well!
A: Yes it is. It is as simple as pouring the supplied sugar into a spinner, and turning on 2 switches.

A: You can buy any bag of cubed ice. It must be cubes only though, not crushed or pre shaved. We recommend 6-10 bags of ice, dependent upon the temperature of the day, where you are storing the ice, and how many sno cones you are trying to make.
